What exactly is the NEB VET Label Project? 

The NEB VET Label initiative aims to integrate the values and principles of the New European Bauhaus into vocational education and training (VET) centers across Europe. This initiative not only supports the transformation of VET centers but also contributes to a more sustainable and innovative future for education and training across Europe.

Main Objectives of the project:

  • Promote the values and working principles of New European Bauhaus in the context of VET centres.
  • Provide an easy-to-use way for VET centres to assess their practice in the NEB context and acquire the NEB VET Label.
  • Provide concrete guidance with good practices to VET centres on how to apply NEB values.
  • Create a pan-European ecosystem of VET centres that promote the NEB values and principles to their students and their collaborators.

Project Results:

A network of NEB VET ambassadors and an NEB competition for students, which can promote and recognize the adoption of NEB principles and values in VET and create a community of stakeholders who are committed to promoting sustainable and inclusive education.

A mapping and desk analysis report on existing best practices in NEB principles and green skills in VET, which can inform and guide the development of the NEB VET Label framework and digital tool.

A set of assessment criteria and a framework for the NEB VET Label, which will provide international recognition for VET providers that help adopt NEB principles and green skills and enhance their reputation and competitiveness.

A digital tool with a personalized guidebook that can help VET providers to implement NEB principles and develop their own internationalization strategies, which can enhance the quality and relevance of VET across different countries.

A pilot test report and recommendations on the NEB VET Label framework and digital tool, which can inform and guide the further development and implementation of the NEB VET Label.
